The Adventures of Jack and Miracle Girl is basically one giant epic, split into two books; this second book begins where the last one left off. It's a bit longer, and I think a bit better -- in fact I think it might be the best book in the whole Signalverse series. But I'm a terrible judge of my own work, so I really have no idea.

I wrote this one in record time. I'm normally a very slow writer, but for some reason I was fired up like crazy writing this thing, adding thousands of words a day. Wish I always had that kind of productivity.

I felt like I ended Jack and Lia's story on a pretty nice note here, in this book, which is why I haven't really returned to these characters in subsequent books. I do occasionally mention them, however, to give readers an idea of what they're up to (vacationing in the undersea kingdom of Neptunia, for example), and they do appear in a small cameo in Champions Weekly. They're set to appear again in a more substantial way in the tenth Signalverse novel, however, which is going to be a big crossover featuring characters from several of the books.
