I'm planning on writing the tenth Signalverse novel, tentatively titled City of Strange Gods, in 2024. It's going to be a huge epic, probably 100,000 words, and will bring back several protagonists from the previous books, including Jack and Lia, Ally and Danny from Champions Weekly, and Alan and Raye from Sneak and the Shadow of Darkplanet.

The eleventh book will probably be Special Squad E, about a team of rookie police officers recently assigned to the famous Special Squad, which deals with superhuman threats in Signal City.

I'm not sure what will follow Special Squad E, but I do have ideas for several more novels and some short story collections:

Signal City Adventures. A collection of five short stories set in the Signalverse. It would include 1) a humorous story about Insomniak waking up in strange places, 2) a story about Ankhara and the Paranormals, 3) a story about a geeky history professor getting into an adventure with Shieldmaiden, Lumberjack, and Lumberjill, 4) a story about a young girl who is upset that her favorite hero, the Eyeball, is retiring, and 5) a story about Lucy Wright, Blake Hunter, and the Time League.

Signal Intelligence. A direct sequel to Disreputable Persons, which would take place in the summer of 2018. In this one, Max and the gang investigate a new hero called Arc Seven, who seems to have some connection to the nefarious megacorp Lantern International.

Orchid and Kitsune. Title is very tentative. I actually have this one pretty thoroughly outlined; in this outing, an exasperated Orchid gets mixed up with a flighty new hero who may or may not be a twelve-thousand-year-old goddess. Like Signal Intelligence, this one would take place in the summer of 2018.

White Ribbon #3. The as-yet-untitled third White Ribbon novel, which would wrap up Kaden and Izzy's story.

I'm also planning on putting together a new, updated edition of The Complete Guide to the Signalverse, probably in 2025, which would likely include a new short story and possibly some illustrations.

If you're a fan of the series and you'd like to see more (or less) of a particular character, or if you have a preference for which story I ought to write next, please let me know! I'd love to hear from you.
